During the last workshop on Economic Oversight and Regulation held in the Gambia from 14th to 18th August 2023, to enhance the implementation of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) and promote the sustainable development of air transport in Africa, a modality was developed to draft the African Economic Regulation Template. As a result, a small Committee of Experts from member States was set up to work with the AFCAC Secretariat to develop the draft.
The draft template has been developed and sent to African States and industry stakeholders for comments/inputs while the validation and stakeholders’ sensitization workshops have been scheduled back-to-back as follows:
North, West and Central African Regions
